What's for lunch?
I've got left over salad comprising leaves, cucumber, sweetcorn, radish, carrot, chicken, spring onion and feta. Bit of balsy-vig and a toss about for good measure.
Looking forward to it, I'm starving.
So what have you all got for lunch?

Steamed broccoli along with carrots and puy de lentils (courtesy of Diana Henry).
I can't say I'm looking forward to it but it does the job well enough.

A red apple, with heavy bruising on one side which I discovered on first mushy bite. Two oranges with no defective parts so far, though may have a lot of seeds.
Considering a bowl of biryani from the cafe across the road, though might pass on that.
By the way how's the country manager search going? If it's anything like our recruitment 25% of the applicants are unrelated to construction, 50% are junior engineers confident that they can do the job, 20% are guys who last 12 months max at any role and the remaining 5% if you are really lucky might have some one competent.

We're moving soon so trying to empty the fridge freezer.
Today's snap is two hash browns and a cheese slice in a breadcake with potato salad.
Tomorrow will be a fish finger and cheese butty.

Subway 6" Chicken Tikka on honey oat, no cheese, all the salad, no sauce. Not many options out here at the top of the Palm. Either that or Toss'd salad (had one yesterday). Still in the hotel for a few more days so can't make anything myself. Can't wait to get out of it. The almost nightly fire alarm malfunctions and eating in the Red Lion is starting to grate.

Search hasn't started yet. I'm just peppering the market to start with, gotta build up a bit of a network in a few new places because we've got a specific target to aim for.
5% is generous for any advert, let alone those in India. Our conversion from advert responses to hires is 0.1% (just finished last years stats).

0.1% that's crazy, so what's the most effective form of advertising? Other than internal recommendations.

Even if it's low is still makes up a large number of our placements. That and referrals as you'd suggest (internal and external), they're the total bomb. Much higher strike rate both in terms of joining but staying as well.
The running is the main thing. Food stuff I'm not beating myself over, just trying to be a bit more sensible without being unsustainable levels of dull.

Breadcake/roll/bap/barm.
Or teacake if you're a Barnsley Dingle.
