Well...
Apparently last night a mate, walking back from a bar late at night, decided to take a short cut, spotted a trench in the way and tried to leap over it.
End result: 5+ hours in the emergency room getting stitched up. No broken bones, thankfully.
We're taking him out tonight for recovery drinks.

A weekend of moving apartments for me, which is obviously a tremendous ballache however will be worthwhile in the medium/long term.
On the plus side the company came up with a decent bonus and increment so I'm happy about that. Good booze up planned for tomorrow night on the strength of that

Friday i'm off to brunch in Al Qasr....i been a few times over the past several years and personally think it's over rated...but i have friends flying in from the UK who insist they only want to go there.
Sat will be recovering from said brunch.
Sun i have booked off, just because i fancied a nice long weekend

As I’m sure you know, the exact translation from French is “cooked with vacuumâ€.
1. Seal food in vacuum bag
2. Cook at extremely precise temperature for about 1-2 hours. so food is cooked thoroughly and evenly.
3. If required (steak or duck) finish in super hot skillet for outside color and texture.
Most global steak houses are now using Sous Vide.

Me too. Glad I did, looks exciting.
I'm flying to India this arvo. Work buy the cheapest economy tickets so chances of an upgrade? More chance of me flying the ****ing plane.

How long will you have to suffer India? Fascinating country but the food is always tricky for me. Never got sick, though.

I think by the time I land I'll have an email asking me to check in for return flight.
Land late tonight, full day in Delhi on Mon.
Fly to Mumbai early Tuesday, full day in Mumbai.
Fly to Dubai Tuesday evening.
I will spend both full days looking at the insides of meeting rooms in hotels.
