Do you mean Rivington Grill and Karma Kafe in Souk al Bahar? Rivington has an outside terrace, but I reckon it's still too warm for visitors to sit outside.
The Address (the big main one) has a few good restaurants as well as couple of bars with good views if you fancy that option.
Or show them old school Dubai and go to Ravi's...

Cafe or Kafe... meh! Just because they can't spell cafe doesn't mean I can't!
As for Ravi's, I think they have started to believe their own hype. The best (much better than Ravi's) cheapee Indian is just round to the right of the Yorke. It's a proper canteen set up and you quite often end up sharing tables with other random folk which makes it interesting. You get proper stainless steel dishes and we're generally the only honkies in there. The food is also sublime and then you get the minuscule bill. Top place!

went to the observatory for the views. Nice meal though to be fair.
