They? You assume that billions of non-muslims all think the same thing? Do you not see how ridiculous that makes you sound?

I do not assume that all muslims think exactly the same thing, albeit your religion seems to wish that you do.

It is not the growing of a beard that makes a man an extremist. It is more his anti-social and aggressive behaviour.

It also includes some statements regarding scientific issues which were discovered only recently. This is one of the evidences that Quran is from Allah because these discoveries were not known at that time.

By the way, I live in the UK in the technology and the modern world and I follow the principles mentioned in the Quran. This does not prevent me from living and working in a modern world.

:rofl: You are saying it was not written by a human being?:rofl:

No point in having a continuing discussion with a man who believes in fairies.

I know that not all non-muslims accept it but it happens with many of them. Alot of people also make sex without marriage at all. Then he can leave his girl friend and makes sex with another one. He can keep doing that without any legal relationship which is a big social problem. How is this considered acceptable while marrying more than one woman is not?

You are the one who sounds ridiculous by saying wrong statements. A good muslim never does anti-social and aggressive behaviour

I believe in Allah and in his words and not in fairies.

I'm also not interested in continuing the discussion with you. So we finally agreed on one thing :)

Who precisely are "they"? Unless they insult or attack me, I respect anyone with a beard regarless of age/nationality/faith. Many men also have beards because they chose to/fashion/comfort - not faith. Please don't generalise too much what you think people's perceptions are... the world is not beardist...

There are "big social problems" in all societies - Islamic, Chirtian, Mulit-cultural. You hear about these probblems more in Western societies because they are fully developed, have strong insitutions and transparent reporting mechanisims. You can't simply say that people that have sex outside marriage creates a big social problem. In many societies, people remain in stable, loving lifelong relationships without marriage. Futhermore, we are simply debating the subject of marrying more than one woman. As meow says, many find it strange and unequal - which is not the same as saying it is unacceptable.

The only way a man should be allowed to have more than one wife is if his other wife/wives agree! Anything else is morally bankrupt and the antithesis of a freedom and liberty. But then religion is also the antithesis of freedom and liberty when it's rules are made law in a land. Religion assumes people are stupid and cannot govern themselves without descending into chaos yet religion is the cause of more wars than anything except resource and land grabbing.

Why are you using nature to justify your faith? Faith by definition requires no evidence or support - simply believe and that's it.

If we use reason and science we have to allow gay marriage too right? And the right of both women and men to be with whoever they wish within a consensual relationship - something forbidden to Islam, Christianity and Judaism.

It's common in EVERY society my friend. The only difference is most western women don't need "protection" because we don't treat our women like they are incapable of independent thought or action simply because they are female.:)

Well in my country one does not need to be married in order to be "honourable" or "dignified" so that is a lost arguement when outside theocratic dictatorships. People can choose to live a polygamous lifetstyle if they wish with the only limit being the consent of the persons involved.

Why exactly is having sex with someone you are not married to a big social problem?

Does it increase crime or harm the economy???

Probably because the man doesnt have control over the woman, the woman actually has a life to do as she pleases! And we mustn't forget, according to beardman women are well below men...

this is fricken bonkers! Why is it people who believe in this faith (on this forum) seem to think because someone disagrees with what they say that they have to go on and on to try and prove a point that is never ever going to come out!

I certainly wouldnt want to share my fricken husband with any other women period! I would break his knackers off if he ever strayed!

Nothing you say will ever make me accept or understand how you do it..!

Highways at least you admit there are 'bad' muslims.... i guess all that follow your faith arent perfect!

Women are not below men. Both are equal but with different responsibilities and different nature. For example, restrictions in islam (such as not making sex without marriage) applies to both men and women.

We mention our belief without forcing anyone to follow it. I can use the same argument and say that others who don't belive in islam go on and on to try and prove their point when they disagree with us.

On your last point, you are right. That's why I always say islam says so and so, or a good muslim should do so and so. Of course there are bad muslims and good muslims. This is similar to non-muslims who include good people as well as bad people :)
