He most likely did, He was quoted in the local paper as saying he had nothing left for the final sprint. Galen Rupp.

He's not that wrong. Farah is coached by the great Cuban-American runner, Alberto Salazar who runs Nike's Oregon Project part of which involves the athletes living in a specially modified house with air thinning technology, designed to mimic high altitude conditions.

His wife and child live in the area, does he still live in the modified house?

Can we keep the thread going, but cancel the closing ceremony instead? Oh...... too late............ Russell Brand??? Oh please......... the whole thing was a serious let-down to wrap up a wonderful Games....... did anyone here actually think it was good?

Saw the beginning and thought it was chaotic (in a bad way) and I couldn't heare the singers. My boys said that probably everybody in the audience could hear ok, but considering there was a billion or more people tuning in that wasn't the point. Thankfully didn't see Russell Brand. WTF was the Churchill bit about? Should've had Tom Jones, Always Look On The Bright Side of Life, Spice Girls, The Who, Adele and Cathrine Jenkins, for no longer than an hour.

Given the cocktail of alcohol, drugs, kids and late nights, I can imagine that with the exception of sporty there would be more cellulite on those girls than at a typical Dubai brunch. *shudders*

Although, I have always liked Mel B... until she opens her mouth that is.

I've...er...studied the relevant photos and can find no evidence of that. In fact, they all look damned hot. Especially...

For heaven's sake guys, please don't drag this down into another thread that ends with you sounding like a bunch of old perverts slagging off women's bodies.

Thought it was a let down compared to the opening ceremony - liked Jessie J, Tinie Tempah, Taio Cruiz, Take that, George Michael and the Spice girls. Thought it was an insult to British fashion design to include V Beckham as a british fashion designer though!
