I personally can't see it, all chinese whispers and nonsense like the fact QDC was closing down after national day. Qatar can't tempt people here as it is with alcohol. For a place that loves to shoot itself in the foot that would be akin to blowing their own heads off.

The weather globally will be bonkers
2020 will be the phrase that drives us all to the brink of manslaughter
The Winter Olympics will be bloody
On the plus side I think it'll be a good year for business as the insanity gets back to its infectious levels

1. Dubai house prices / rents will continue to increase despite talk of a bubble
2. All Blacks extend their unbeaten record to 25 games in a row
3. Palm Jebel Ali development/hype restarts "twice the size of Hong Kong"
4. ManU just manage to avoid relegation in end of season play off nail biter
5. AC/DC play a 3 hr sellout gig at the AD F1....(wishful thinking - the rest will happen)
