Former Expats cannot stop commenting
LONDON: Despite having left the Middle East over seven years ago, former Dubai resident Jade O’Brian hasn’t stopped passing comment on the region on social media, according to friends.
The UK-based freelance writer lasted just 18 months in Dubai before she left in 2007 claiming that it “wasn’t for her”, yet continues to make endless disparaging remarks about the city on the Facebook walls of friends who still live there.

I have a couple of FB too. One posts negative Dubai news stories on my timeline which is think is supposed to tell me how awful it is although I have a good life and he is the one struggling and bitter. *shrugs*

Just waiting for the PAE spoof story about Wayne - the 21 1/2 year old Dubai real estate executive who is living the dream selling luxury apartments in The Marina and who is too young to remember / was not here in 2009...
