Cousins can marry in the UK.What is frowned upon is if this is repeated generation after generation whereby the risk of deformed births is greatly increased.
The % of British Pakistanis married to cousins is very high-@ 50% if I recall
-prolific in Midlands(Is Bradford Midlands?-case study I am thinking of).

I thought about that statement after I'd submitted it. What I mean was, how many were actually married to their own relatives.

Aaah, that would be the genes working then....
