This is my point, companies are cutting and top of the lists for redundancies are employees with school fees and it isn't just construction companies.

yep i know in the same boat.... the only way to help is for the rents to come down like it was in the past, or to be able to pay over 12 months etc, to help the cashflow.

It already did a studio in Discovery garden in Dubai is for 25,000 dh and in 12 cheques.

Just wait It will need a year or two for Abu Dhabi to lower the rents.

This is all a repeat in UAE. I happened three times already. This is the fourth

Problem is that there is no choice but to pay it, and well they know it, there are no jobs back home wherever home may be, so people who have jobs here are not going to pack up and go because school fees have gone up.Guess for those that have children the decrease in rents will pay for increase in school fees.

I heard our school has put in for fee increase too...........

I'm hoping someone in KHDA will lose the request......

We're back to paying our own fees again - soon it won't make sense for us to be here in the middle east with the schooling costs if we continue paying it ourselves.

this is a school in ad, which over the last three years has raised it 46% and the moe ruling is that they are only allowed to do 5% every two years or 20% every 3 unless they get special permission, but now they seem to be getting "special" permission all the time.
