Well, thanks to Meow!!!!
Headed to Safita yesterday and got a very nice darkwood bar and some other stuff....
TBH, when I saw the price and he then told me what I would actually pay, I didnt have the heart to haggle further. And, I am proud to say, it is far classier than AA's, by the sounds of it...
Its getting all sanded and polished and will be gracing the bar area by Sunday....

my friend, my bar is very very classy...i have just added the tackyness aspect to wind my wife up as she is home.
and MH they are maybe the height of bad taste in your opninion which is cool, but for us youngsters with babies, we do most of our socialising indoors, so we love it.
GA when you come round to AD pop in for a drink..be quick mind, the bar is relocating soon..

(although why you need a 'proper' bar instead of just your fav bottles in a cabinet/fridge is beyond me, but maybe it's a Scottish thing)

2 limited edition pics, signed and numbered, of Faddy striking the ball and also wheeling away to celebrate the goal scored in Paris during the return match of the Euro2008 qualifiers. Now all I have to do is track down a decent sized LCD or plasma to put up on the wall, and my shrine to Scottsih football will be almost complete.. Just the ART subscription to sort out before the start of the season....
