Re: good movies
Note to Scamp: Under Siege has just started on Fox Movies..........
........... I saw Promised Land today - nice little film, low key, beautifully filmed - big energy company trying to buy up parcels of farmland from poor farmers, environmental concerns, cover-ups............. Matt Damon very good indeed, and Frances McDormand is in it - always a bonus. Recommended.

Re: good movies
The Big Wedding is a decent film with humour. It's a Hollywood remake of a French film called Mon Frere se Marie and stars Robert de Nero, Diane Keeton, Susan Sarandon, Robin Williams, Ana Seyfried, Ben Barnes and some other known faces.

Yes, although it did have a young Katharine Heigl as Steven Seagal's niece, showing an early glimpse of the subsequent hotness she would display to good effect on Grey's Anatomy.........

Re: good movies
Oh. My. God.
Just starting on OSN Action is '15 Minutes' - perhaps the worst film ever to star Robert de Niro (and yes, I DO remember that 'Rocky and Bulwinkle' garbage). I thought RdN had rounded up all copies and destroyed them, to protect his reputation............
Recommended for those who haven't had their intelligence insulted recently.

And then there was Eddie Murphy in "Coming to America" then "Groundhog Day" - two 90s films I revisited.
