Re: Film 2009 onwards....
I cant just imagine the conversation that went on...
Scarletfanagain: "C'mon girls, fancy the cinema boyo's , I'd love to see that
new film Australia, it looks such a epic..."
Nieces: "Aww, Noooo Uncle Scarletfanagain, do we have to, cant we go to
see a game of rugby instead, and look at that lovely Gavin
Henson ?
Scarletfanagain: "Now, now girls, dont start playing up, you know how much
your ol' Uncle likes a bit of a tearjerker, anyway, rugby is
played by a bunch of twats , running around in
tight shorts sticking their heads between each other's legs
every two mins, and the scrums keep going down on each
other....its f***king disgusting is what it is....now c'mon
lets get going before we miss it"
Nieces : Awww Uncle, do we have to ?
Scarletfanagain: I have told you once and I wont tell you's again, now move
your arses, and stop whining.....Ive heard there are a lot of
close ups of sheep, so Im right up for it...er, I mean, I love
any film with Nicole Kidman in, such a great
actress..."

Just saw 'Appaloosa'... reminds me of the 3 cowboy movies Clint Eastwood and Lee Van Cleef did back in the day...

I've been catching up on some old movies - watched "Penelope", it wasn't bad, good family movie to watch with the kids and also "Enternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind", it was pretty good.
The kids also put on Billie Elliott for the 6000th time on the weekend, but I hadn't actually watched it for a few years and was surprised how even knowing the story, the actor who plays Billie's father, brought me to tears yet again.
