We Need to Talk About Kevin: great book, great film

Re: Fillums
Enjoyed Cat in Boots and Tin Tin.
Only end up watching kids movies these days. |
Re: Fillums
Not a film but if you haven't seen it the wire is must watch tv. Pretty much hailed by all as the best tv series ever made, gotta say I disagree thought the west wing was the best but the wire is a very close second place. Breaking bad isn't bad either

Re: Fillums
Four Lions as suggested is a quality watch.
Sat and watched Lock Stock over the weekend, timeless. On my list to re-watch soon are the following; Leon Taken Last King of Scotland Sexy Beast Footloose. Pick five old ones you've not seen in a while and watch again. It's blinding. Aside from that. Anyone seen Black Gold yet? Is it any good? Happy Feet 2, is that any good too? |

I'm reading another Lionel Schriver book right now, So Much for That. Again, very well written and emotionally challenging. She's a talented woman. Also, the first two series of West Wing is some of the smartest and most enjoyableTV series ever written. IMO |

Re: Fillums
Not a film but a very good dark comedy...new 3part series.
"Black Mirror" A princess has been kidnapped and the only demand is that the UK prime minister has to shag a pig live on national TV or she dies!!!Lol . New series. First of three darkly comic horror stories about the power of technology in the 21st century. Prime minister Michael Callow faces a dilemma when Princess Susannah, a much-loved member of the royal family, is kidnapped, and he and his staff struggle to deal with shifting public opinion as information about the case spreads across the internet. Written by Charlie Brooker, and starring Rory Kinnear, Lydia Wilson, Lindsay Duncan and Tom Goodman-Hill. |

That is an incredible book. It was so good and so powerful, that I am in two minds about seeing the film, as I wonder if it could really do it justice.
