Emirates summer flights

Re: Emirates summer flights
I dunno , each to their own , but I quite like it here . I don't do much and I have a lot of time to spend with my family that I didn't have in other jobs previously . It's what you make of it . If you say to yourself that a place is sh** then it will be .

I've always assumed that the lot of the married men on single contracts in KSA took the jobs precisely so they don't have to spend time with their families...

Haha! That's the flipside. At least the wife is more comfortable they can't get loads of brass (I'm assuming hookers are scarce in KSA compared to Dubai for example...)

Vegas cost me less than 600 quid via American Airways which is a QR code share to Manchester. Had I of booked QR to Manchester alone direct with them it cost more than flying to Vegas

From my experience, as an international traveller formerly making up to 50 flights a year but fortunately much less now, Business Class is one of the biggest rip-offs of the modern world. For goodness sake, you are simply sat in a seat for a few hours. Why pay double or triple the price just for slightly more leg room and little else? If they gave you a blow job I could understand it. Maybe they do nowadays,eh?

Virgin plane on the Dubai leg was not good mind - ropey stewardesses and pathetic entertainment system. Soooo much better on the US leg on both counts.

Cost me just under a grand in Virgin cattle class DXB-LHR, LGW-Las Vegas; San Fran-LHR-DXB. Crazy that similar money is charged by Emirates just for the trip to Heathrow.

I did, DOH-MAN, MAN-PHL and finally PHL - LAS. I did pay $60 for the extra legroom on the US flights too.

Most guys on Featherbed packages are too busy being important to their company to worry about such trivia
