Yes Britain is certainly a very popular country with migrants who then go on to represent their new country, they should be applauded for their loyalty. Of course the majority of the cricket team are still English born and bred.

I think any British sporting team or organisation should be able to field players from any country who

a) Used to be part of the empire, or
b) Britain has defeated in a war

World Cup history would have been a little different, then!

The funniest part of the show the other night was when he did an impression of himself. He was pretty good at it. :lol:

Terry Wogan is another presenter who has come in for stick about being too old or past his sell by date, but I was really sorry when he jumped (or was pushed?) off early morning Radio 2. He's such an avuncular chap.

They do show a good % of British TV but way too much American crap and truly woeful local stuff.

Not really the same as Raheem Sterling and Adnan Januzaj who have England eligibility problems, or did have in Sterling's case.

Mo is a Brit in spite of being born in Somalia and moved to join his father in the UK who was a Brit, so those golds are indeed for Great Britain.

I actually thought both of them were pretty funny in their day.

There was a link to an 'Are you British?' quiz on here once, first question: 'Complete the following: "Nice to see you, to see you _______"

No more was really needed :lol:

That'd be a start. Also, some Spaniards and Argies wouldn't hurt. Technically Italians as well. The possibilities are ... well, not endless, but quite plentiful.

Think about an England team that need not worry about penalty shoot-outs any more.
