What makes anything completely crap ? The nasty habit of only looking at the half empty glass and the dark side of life ! Why having such a negative attitude towards life ?

Not sure why seeing the glass half-full is somehow a more superior attitude to have in life.

I totally agree, why go through life looking at the negative side of things? Surely it is better even for your own state of mind to be positive, look for the good?

While we're at it, all this 'positive attitude' and 'negative attitude' crapola. Positive and negative are absolute, objective terms. A proton is positively charged; -100 is a negative number (and right bloody cold). One shouldn't apply objective adjectives to a subjective concept like 'you said the thing I like is crap, stop being negative' when you really mean 'You disagreed with me. Stahp ' ...

We are a long time dead, the time I have I am going to spend being happy and positive. If others choose the dark side that is their problem.

I just think being aware of society's problems puts you in a better position to do something about them, rather than being in denial of their existence.

Which is not the same as focussing on the negative.
