Ok .You all calm down.
I am at a loss here . I was referring to your own post Hino. You are the one that started this thread.
Either you feel it is good news and wanted to share or you wanted to make it bad news in some sort of way. I do not know.
.
I am in New Zealand. I come from the UK.
I have no ulterior motive. I was just inquiring. I made the post as is.
So.
If you all can't play nice with each other ,for whatever reason, then it seems it goes to bed.
Jolly odd though.
Lower crime rates anywhere in the world is surely good news not bad news.

Ah ! I've read all this squabbling again as some of it confused me somewhat.
Yes. To be clear. I was responding to Hino's post.
I think a reduction in crime or any anti-social behaviours, anywhere, is a gain ,not a loss.
Of course if it is in my home country then I will just love that because I love that place and my family and friends are there.
For heavens sake people, I have lived with bad rubbish now here in NZ for FIVE YEARS. It is not fun and not something to take lightly .
So please don't peddle statistics. Just be glad that the rubbish stuff is getting better wherever that is.

for the city that I emigrated from its showing an average of 1200+ crimes per month. I figure that's about normal.
Top three
ASB ~25%
Theft ~11%
Violent crime ~11%
I feel safer knowing that now
Compared to this

Perhaps be better if we ALL ignored them instead of adding fuel to their little fires

Would somebody, anybody, like to explain to me what is the issue with posting this?
"1,073 crimes reported in October so my old place qualifies in the Hell's Kitchen bracket"
If the website is to be believed, that sentence is a statistical fact. So what's the issue?

Some people only want to read statistics that support their point of view?
