I loved my Irish heritage growing up, I was in a ceilidh band but I couldn't do Irish dancing for love nor money,
There's an Irish club here, I really must go to a ceilidh. Did you ever go to one? Bloody good fun. |

Lovely to hear your tales of loony Town and follow your story Miss Betty - Very fond of Hastings (grew up in Brighton and visited often) - also worked a lot at Conquest Hospital (on IT side, not clinical). Sussex just rocks!! |

Re: I think today I've gone 'troppo' - help!
Just an update to my own 'troppo' moment. No passport yet ! :( I just did a web chat and they say it's not been finalised yet and there are no notes on file to indicate if there is a problem. So now they've taken more details from me as to the conversation I had with the examiner back at the beginning of March and they're going to do an investigation to find out why it's taking so long, and they're going to get the examiner to contact me and explain why.
So as it's now Wednesday April 3rd, I seriously doubt I'm going to get my passport back in time to fly out on the 9th, so looks like I'm going to have to delay my departure until the 16th. :( I could just cry ! Or hit something !!! LOL |

I am so sorry! That's horribly disappointing and if there's one thing I hate more than the bitch Patience, it's the bastard Disappointment. I hope there's a silver lining for you in it somewhere. In the meantime, go ahead, hit something! Or get a big piece of paper and draw angry things all over it.
I knew I should have just flown on my Australian passport and then applied for a UK one when I got there, but I figured that would only cause more problems and delays so opted for the more LOGICAL option and see where that got me.. LOL |
