Ahhh!!! The grandkids. Don't underestimate the power of the grandchildren. We had all our plans in place when along came grandchild number one. From the moment she arrived on the planet we were smitten. The little mites capture your heart instantaneously and throw all well intended plans up in the air. So much so that you begin have doubts about moving back at all.

Five years later, and now with two grandchildren, and having researched other options of where to move to, or if to move at all, the pull of moving back home has overcome our reluctance to leave the family behind.

Though I wouldn't bank on it.
