Foyle's War - understated detective series in its 7th (maybe 8th or 9th) season, starring Michael Kitchen and Honeysuckle Weeks. Initially set in WWII, it is now set post-war.
Last Tango in Halifax - Second Series currently on. Story of two pensioners who find each other again after being school sweethearts. Quirky set of characters. Starring Derek Jacobi and Sarah Lancashire.

I'd also be interested in any UK-available foreign programs too (subtitled stuff!)
Spiral (French police/legal drama) just restarted.

Wolf Hall starting on BBC2 next Wednesday - based on Hilary Mantel's books, staring Damien Lewis and filmed in some fabulous locations including Montacute House (well worth a visit).

It's a really crass comedy series - but it's very funny and the new series starts tonight at 9pm UK time on ITV 1:
Benidorm (lol!).
Lots of older episodes on YouTube.

We just watched the trilogy (subtitles) of the Swedish films Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Girl Who Played with Fire, and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest. All were on US Netflix. Excellent.
