I like him...probably because of Love Actually...but his acting style and voice does't change...no matter what character he's playing...wooden.
We thought the last two series were very poor. Disappointing as some big name actors had key parts.

Having lived in the Caribbean for 7 years I thought I would record it and watch later. Still haven't watched it, mainly because the reviews seem to have been so poor. I may just watch some of it to get the Caribbean vibe, and when I have had enough I'll delete it.

There is even more good drama coming up on UK TV this week.

Is it the way he speaks or something about those jerky Billy Mack type movements?

Watched part 1 again and half of part 2 last night, bit disappointed all a bit unbelievable and unconvincing. Although I am a big Nighy fan, he has a limited range of delivery, which too me increases my admiration for his usually convincing acting. Even Walkden is unconvincing.

Undeniable starts on ITV tomorrow.

Just watched the first episode of the Crimson Field, it seems very promising.

Yes, The Crimson Field was good. Oh, yes, I watched Turks and Caicos. Not bad. Looking forward to some more good drama! I am old and don't have a life!!

Of course there has been some good TV from the USA too.

I recently watched all of House of Cards. Quite different to the original but I really enjoyed it.

Another one I caught up on was Rubicon.

That it was criticised for its "lack of action" tells you all you need to know.

If1, have you been watching The Borders on BBC? Fascinating stuff.

I have recorded it and I am looking to forward to watching it soon. It is so hard to keep up with all the programmes that I want to watch, so I usually record most things that appeal to me. I am going to end up with square eyes.

I think my Humax PVR is almost at capacity - will have to watch some stuff or start deleting!

I watched part of the first episode (I think) of the Borders documentary. It was hosted by some weird Hobbit-looking guy who was scampering around Hadrian's wall pretending to re-enact the attack of a barbarian horde against the Romans, it was all a bit strange really.

Yeah, he was a bit weird He's an MP (or maybe an ex MP, not too sure..)

I didn't care for the way he kept referring back to his own experiences in Afghanistan etc... and I didn't really like his presenting style... shame as the subject matter is potentially very interesting.

For me, the presenters can really make or break a documentary.. there was a short series on BBC4 about the Plantagenets (maybe a repeat) which I tried, but the historian presenting it was just so dry I gave up...
