You can reach the SNCF's english-speaking operators by phone at
33.8.36.35.35.39 (33.08... inside France). They will give you info and make
reservations. Tickets can be sent by mail.

In Netscape 4.79/US on Linux, you see a row of little flags at the top left,
which don't show as links when you move the cursor across them. This is
supposed to be a USEMAP. Open the same page in the text-only browser lynx
and it shows as "[USEMAP:flag.gif]" (at least, with my configuration it
does) and if you select it you get
1. Voorstelling nederlands
2. Versione italiana
3. VersÃÂon española
4. English version
5. Deutsche version
The direct URL for the English version is .
(From the original page you could also select "Organisez, réservez et
achetez", on which page the British flag *is* a working link to an
English version. At least, with my configuration it is.)
