What amused me, was that the red stop signs were in French. Am I

... here are a few of your favourite things.

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favourite things

Cream coloured ponies and crisp apple streudels
Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings
These are a few of my favourite things

Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes
Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes
Silver white winters that melt into springs
These are a few of my favourite things

When the dog bites
When the bee stings
When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favourite things
And then I don't feel so bad

When my son was about 13 he thought he was very daring when he wore a similar
decorated T shirt to school under his white school shirt.
Nowadays they have it tattooed on them. Jeremy, you had better check.

I'll let you into the secret when you have finished eating all those lovely
krokets with noodles.

In 2000 I visited a Greek island that is infested by the Dutch (amidst other folks) in
summer - not a kroket in sight. You are just trying to scare me. Not gonna happen, Mister!

They only share them with intimate friends.

Plenty of krokets available in Side in Turkey last year, but Turkish food is
more varied than Greek.

Personally having been to all your mentioned place I would do trip #1
and go out to Hydra on your free day 7(or day trip out to Nafplio in the
Peloponnese, also close). That will make a full and busy schedule BUT a
great one! It should be photographic heaven! Meteora and Delphi were
two of my favourites. Hydra would give you a nice easy close by taste of
a pretty Greek island but save Santorini for another trip when you can
also do some other islands in the Cyclades chain and have the time to do
them justice. I have little doubt you will go back if at all humanly
possible.
Excuse my spelling of some of the Greek place names but there are a half
dozen English variations of the spellings---and all correct, it seems?????.
