You must have some empowered teachers in Paris. In Italy, if a teacher
so much as disagrees with a child, the parents are in the principal's
office by 4 PM breathing fire.
We've heard of parents who complained because:
1) the teacher gave their child nightmares by explaining that the
Egyptian mummies were dead bodies.
2) the teacher humiliated their child by making her exit from the
classroom at the end of the line because she had been unruly all
morning.

There is a reason for that. The weather is much nicer. I have been there
twice at the end of April / early May. In the north the leves were just
starting to come out and spring bulbs were blooming. We had pleasant days
and cool nights.

There is a reason for that. The weather is much nicer. I have been there
twice at the end of April / early May. In the north the leves were just

I didn't stay in the centre of Munich during the Oktoberfest. I did pay exactly
the same rate during the Oktoberfest as I did during the rest of the year.
Magda the Oktoberfest isn't in summer.
