It sure is on the lates of death certificates. Tobacco is listed as
implicated or not. Before you write you should check your facts.

Smoking was listed as an underlying cause on my mother's Wisconsin death
certificate.

Listening to Dr. Dean Edell (sp?) on the radio a couple of years ago, he
said that when a person dies from a disease, regardless of age, and that
person smokes or smoked, it is officially listed as "smoking related"
whether or not the illness was caused by smoking or not.
