I would agree with this if you replace "French Citizen" with "citizen
of country X." As an American, I find the best take on world news is
from the BBC and Radio Netherlands, and occasionally Deutsche Welle.

Hi,
and for those that aren't familiar with Short Wave Radio the BBC, Radio
Netherlands, and Deutsche Welle are all STRONG stations that can be
easily heard on an inexpensive portable radio.
there's loads of music/news/commentary out there from all points of view
just a spin of the dial away.
and Radio Havana Cuba has good latin jazz.
