I read your post and it said the US was backwards to Europe in being able to
check your luggage through to finale destination. I just went to Rome from
SFO via Cincinnati. Checked through both ways, just had to clear customs
and immigration in Cincinnati on return trip. I have always had to clear
immigration at first place I landed and left the airport outside the US on
every trip I have taken outside the country. Asia, Mx, Europe or South
America. In the 80's you had to clear immigration when you flew to
different countries in Europe. Fly from London to Switzerland, and you had
to clear immigration. Customs just asked via posters if you had anything to
declare.

That is the rate I was looking for. The Stockholm books talks about
280SEK for one week. Any way because of the security reason, baggage
has to be transported with the passenger. I have to claim it at
stokholm. I will check it at the left luggage place for two days.
thank you.
