Is Christchurch not a good area for asians? If I ever move to NZ it will either be Christchurch or Wellington (or somewhere near).

ChCH has a history of skinhead activity and is still a violent city, as I understand it particularly to non white people. It is predominately white middle class...for some this is great, but for me, not so ideal. saying that...not everybody has a bad experience. Visit and see what you think. Read the news online perhaps.
