Well its spring time here in NZ and yep as unpredicatble as ever 
Yesterday lovely and warm crack out the shorts and T-shirts and today here is the cold southerly with strong winds and snow on the Central Plateau highways
At least one positive point for us is the mountains have shielded us from thatsnow and the sun is out although that wind has a bit of a nip to it.
Unusual? Not really same thing happen last year in early Novemebr no less after we went to the South Island they got a low level snow dump then as well.
Next week the complaints on how hot it is will start again

been beautiful here in little old inglewood, reached 23 , though could of got higher but that was last i saw temp thingy in town

Sounds like our 1st summer when we were in Auckland, started on Christmas day & was over before the end of January.

my Rowan tree has blown down destroying the garden fence and ending up in the neighbours garden (saturated ground/strong wind) now waiting for the rain to ease off so I can get the chain saw out. Still better off than the poor sods in the Lakes!

Not sure of temp today, when i left for town it was at 22 this morning, but i came home back way and not by temp thingy so not sure, but def hot... going to go cut the grass.
If the rain comes it comes , just remember summer will follow and its heaps better than in the uk
