thanks, it's affected the kids quite a bit but the rest of us just have to get on with life!
now I need to earn some money so we can go over for a holiday in the next couple of years.

For once I think the South Island is warmer than the North. I've just spent two days in Hamilton for interviews and the three of us from Timaru had to go buy hot water bottles or bedsocks, as we were freezing. How come so many hotels nowadays think that a heat pump in the room means that there is no need for an electric blanket!

It looks like we've got rif of the frosts for a few days now anyway. I can't understand why I never get frost on my car on the drive even though there's frost 100m down the road

I agree it was cold today and my fleece was inadequate, but bright sun and blue sky....kids scootered on waterfront and it wasn't windy.
