SPRING IS SPRUNG
What a truly beautiful day ... hot sun, blue skies, no wind. Sat in the sun with a magazine for an hour feeling it warm my bones and soul.

i was going to post same last night, Spring has been threatening last 2 weeks , this week has been wonderful. been out in short sleeves all week.Today I got all my garden set for sitting out in again(washed furniture etc, tidied up ) spent all day in shorts and t-shirts yay
plus heating not going on until through the night like midnight or something as its so warm until then
bring on the summer lol

warmer weather, longer days with the odd really heavy shower - so, yep, it's officially "four seasons in one day......" - ie winter just might be over

Here there are clear skies and it looks lovely and sunny but there is a gale blowing outside and it is still too cold to go outside without layers on

has been windy here all day and that is a cold blast at times, but in the sun it's roasting - behind glass at least.
summer it's not.......not enough flies and burning sun yet, not down to the 5 minute burn times of Jan/Feb

Hubby got a burnt neck at work 2 weeks ago, poor thing, suncream time me thinks esp for lucy , really hot hear when its shining , though its nippy tonight, ah well cant have it all eh

I wouldn't bother, terrorism is very unlikely to be your demise and under most other governments of the past Brits where asked not to panick or change their normal lives (in the case of the IRA for instance who where far better at the bombing thing than these religious pretenders).

Isn't the fabulous thing about being an expat that you can live where you want? Frankly my problem isn't that I have nowhere to go but that I want to try living almost everywhere
(excluding North Korea perhaps ). More and more professionals will live in countries that offer them the best quality of life rather than being tied to the place of their birth.

Just seen the weather on nightline and its going to be another beautiful day up here in Waipu tomorrow...WOOHOO.
