The Pinnacles! Just been there last Friday and absolutely loved it there. Grea for hiking and climbing (if you're into that).
With a RV it's probably best to take the east entrance as the west entrance has a smaller and bit of a winding road to it (seen RV's parked there though).
At the east entrance, you can camp overnight, this is not possible at the west entrance.

well if you want to get technical....the pinnacles is central california :P
but yes confirm what you said memiek, pinnacles is stunning as well,
and if were gonna include the central part of the state then BIG SUR jumps to the head of the line
