Have you seen "Lisa Williams" on Sky? Shes a clairvoyant, really good. Series has ended now. Sends shivers down my spine some of the stories.

Actually, will add "Attack of the Unsinkable Rubber Ducks" by Christopher Brookmyre as a fantastic book, albeit a work of fiction, that covers some of this subject, and he's my fav author just now so would always recommend him to anyone, and he's Scottish which helps
