There are many British Expats in New Zealand that meet these same criteria. Lets hope that noone on this board can recognise a little of themselves and their lifestyle in the description above.
It always amuses me to hear of new immigrants to one country criticising new immigrants in the country they have just left... there is a wonderful irony there.

It is just a statement of fact, on how these new immigrants don't want to adapt to their new home. The UK government allowed this to happen now they have one big problem.
As a new immigrant to NZ I hope not to live in an exclusive English area, and hope my kids take in the NZ lifestyle and customs. I try to join in community activities and hope I adapt.
In the UK this has not been encouraged. When you are a immigrant to a new country you should be expected Integrate.
