i also do dressmaking

Curtains and pelmets are a doddle!!! Haven't had much to do with blinds. But it depends on what you want. I have made Roman/folding blinds for myself but not for anyone else. I can certainly give it a go or offer advice: do you have a sewing machine?

yeh i have a cheapy brother - cant wait to be reunited with it tho!. Even though it does my noodle in (bobbin tension often goes up the spout). I have been thinking about getting an overlocker. Yes I would like to have a go at making a couple of those roman blinds for the rumpus room...

I used to work for 'Dorma' bedding. we had to make 680 pillowcases per day to get on to piecework and then get a better rate. I used to make over a thousand pillowcases a day!! Liked the overlockers but never really saw the point in investing in one for my own personal use. I can always offer to help but by the sound of it, you have it sussed

Me and Danny can come and patch up anyone who gets injured putting the posts in but that's about it unfortunately - my dad was doing our odd jobs until they returned to the UK. Danny did just rescue me from the bathroom so maybe he could do some locksmith work

*snort!* Thank you for the laugh! I can imagine that was written in a shrill voice, you know the voice I mean... so here's my advice:

1. Take a chill pill
2. Have a nice stiff drink (can I say "stiff" or is that sexist?)

That's my girl!

Oh wait... is it sexist if I say "girl"?????

Any ideas / recommendations? We're willing to pay! (what is the going rate anyway? )

That's good that. Because so far my cooking is appalling, i have sewn two skirts TOGETHER, I wreck my nails cleaning and don't even get me started on ironing. I am wearing a teeshirt to work today for the simple reason that i refuse to iron a shirt.

baking....that's that stuff from Pak n Save right?

I think baking is those nice cakes you get out of your local bakery
