Let me (try) explain how to give karma...
Find the post from the poster you want to give karma too. On the left hand side of the post, you have the poster's details. At the bottom of which you have a "karma" button. Click and a small window should open. You can add a "special" message like "Matewx, you're SO good, I still don't understand why you didn't win poster of the month" or similar

Actually i did it, but pressed a button and your karma was sent before i wrote the whole of my comment!! never mind you got the bit that counted!!

On the positive side, a friend kindly pointed out today that at least it's my left hand & as I am right-handed, I am at least still able to wipe my own bum

with a long lost cousin!! well, she was lost afterwards!!! I did almost hold a 'gathering' around the laptop but thought better 
hope i didn't miss much? i'll let u all know now but unfortunately i'm out partying again tonight and so have to give u my apologies in advance!!
gee, its hard work this socialising business (in the flesh!!)!
