Strike at the mo is only planned for the 30th & 31st Jan.

If you can't go later, could you possibly go a couple of days sooner

thanks all for your msgs - if i choose to cancel now before BA have confirmed a strike then i will be charged the 10%

i phoned BA and agent for dates before and after our planned date and there were none available - even with other airlines

but yes it looks like we will be holding off to see what happens. if by next friday the strike is confirmed we will cancel and await the refund.

ho hum!

thinking of you loads

Oh dear. Isn't that just the pits? I'm so sorry for you and hopefully there will be an eleventh hour reprieve. Fingers crossed.

So we could be looking at a couple months away now which scuppers the plans i had for the ITA/case officer. would have been helpful to our application to have a job offer lined up.

i feel so miserable.

Actually, I can now add to your moan. Thanks to the wonderful BA, flights with other airlines are booking up fast. There aren't any flights with MA, luckily there are still some with SA. But we can't book until we have the paperwork, so I hope it hurries the hell up!! Grrrrrrrr!

Oh bloody hell DF that's AWFUL! Surely they're under an obligation to rebook you? Or give a FULL refund? I'm sorry I've not read the whole thread.
