Banana cake - Done.
Bakewell tart - Done
Fruit cobbler - doing.
Ginger biscuits - not done.
Enough today already.
I have learnt over the years that my oven does not distribute heat evenly. I always need to turn pudds etc as otherwise the back will burn and cook faster than the front.
Perhaps I should save for a new one.

Today I somehow managed to be on the receiving end of a telling off in PaknSave . Apparently I had unloaded my trolley onto the checkout belt in the wrong order.

Today , a privately owned helicopter passed by our house as it often does but it was carrying something beneath it. Couldn't make out what was dangling from the 'copter at first then realised it was an oversized pumpkin making it's way to the annual pumpkin competition at the pub at the end of the village.

Well that wasn't very nice at all.
I just heartily swigged my iced slightly lemony water only to be reminded that the ice cubes were frozen vege stock.

Stoke...I was once sent there to work by my IT company for 3 weeks in the Michelin tyre factory. All I remember about Stoke was the smell of rubber and many road roundabouts!
