BEVS: really wishes they hadn't planted raspberries last year. Spent ages pulling up the runners today.
Have also tidied the rampant tomatoes and planted out some leeks .
Froze down surplus stringless beans and finished freezing the carrots. Several large bags so far.
Basil and all other herbs looking all good and brussels sprouts coming along nicely.
Sweetcorn nearly ready for picking . Onions and potatoes should be done for in a few weeks and the peach & apple trees have plenty of fruit. Even the new pear tree has tried to produce coz I forgot to knock off the blossom.
I think this means I deserve a slurp laters after the kitchen domestics are done with.
