I've heard Karori is cold even than Tawa - that's where we are by the way. We've kept an eye on the prices back home and they don't seem to have moved which is good. I was speaking to a Scottish women today who has been here 7yrs and still gets waves of homesickness and is thinking the same as me now - education v lifestyle. I am convinced the education is higher at an earlier age in the UK although I've heard the Kiwi kids catch up by the end of College/Uni.

I'm staying!!!! I've got a job that I really like - renting a house which my friend owned 5 years ago, passed my NZ driving licence on Tuesday & am going to start training for tri-athlons again! I think a good dose of summer has really helped. We've even bought a 4 burner gas BBQ. We celebrate 1yr next month - I really didn't think I'd still be here.
