The Royal Treatment (Netflix) is a cheesy / low budget rom com but worth a watch on a wet Sunday afternoon to spot the sights and scenery around Dunedin.

Finished the first season of Under the Vines…on to season 2 tonight.

It's soppy nonsense but I enjoyed it, probably part due to it being filmed in areas I'm know we'll not far from me

I really liked the Brokenwood series and Under the Vines, and am watching 10 pound Poms, hope the ending isn't too disappointing. Also just finished watching The Gone, funny ending so hope there will be a series 2. There's been some easy to watch shows made over here, I also liked My life is Murder

Sweet tooth, on Netflix is good, and while not necessarily a kiwi program, it was filmed here

We tried it for a couple of episodes but , yeah, a bit bland for my taste. Same with Brokenwood really. A bit along the genre lines of Murder She Wrote or Bergerac etc. Just not gritty enough for my dark side.

Will maybe give that a go for spotting the places that we know and some places there that I love.


Yes. This one we have followed and rather enjoyed its quirkiness.

Have not followed The Gone. I may try it .
