Why universally, in NZ based on my travels do they put the piece of cake/sandwich/pie etc on top of the folded the paper napkin/serviette on the plate so that it becomes impossible to use serviette for wiping your fingers?
Is it because they lack confidence in the effectiveness of the dishwasher to clean the plates?
On a recent holiday in Australia I noticed the paper serviette was invariably left to one side of the food item - which is what I would normally expect.
Is it a requirement of NZ catering exams to do this, does anyone know? (Who cares I know

Its the same here. Went to Morrison's today saw raisins/sultana's big sign reduced to £1 but on the packs it said 2 for £3. Asked assistant she went to check came back and said they are both right so I bought 1. I was still puzzled so asked the customer service she said the 2 for £3 had been on a promotion they were now all £1.
Went to Tesco the other day bought some Flash buy 1 get 1 free @ £1.88 when I checked my receipt been charged for both. Got to Customer Service, big queue and wait ages. No problem to get my money back. Assistant said there you go and gave me £2.76 I did not question it just went on my way home 84p better off.

I don't know if other Asians consume that many chicken feet,,, I don't eat yum cha or any kind of authentic Chinese foods anyway,,. and I rarely eat chicken (I've got allergic)- wonder,,, do they still have yucky chicken feet stuff at NW?

An Idiot Abroad is the funniest thing I've seen in a long time! Apparently Karl Thai boxing is one of the funniest bits... must be in series 2

I download Idiot Abroad 2 every week, I've got the first 3 if you want a copy. If you've got one of those TVs you can put USB sticks in I'll put em on a memory stick for you.

OK, I got the answer to the pig's head question. I was chatting to one of my Tongan students the other day and she said pigs heads are a popular meal with Islanders. Just roast it in the oven whole, and it goes all crispy like crackling. She says it is yummy!

Riddle me this.....why are there three freeview channels all showing the rugby 3rd place play off live at prime time on a Friday night?
Could ask the same about the semis.
Overuse of a paucity of bandwidth to be honest, then you get all the after/pre match waffle. No wonder C4 is saying "rugby free".
