Just wondering what you lot do for entertainment in the evenings?
In the week hubby usually doesn't get home until 7.30ish and he's knackered. So it's usually snuggle up on the sofa and click......but we are both so damn bored of watching movies every night. The t.v is abysmal as we all know.
I could go and read a book, but my whole day is spent with my head in books/journals/reports/paperwork so I don't do that in term time.
We could play a game. O.k, I will admit to liking the odd game of scrabble but not every flipping night.
We could talk, yes that's nice but as I said, hubby is knackered and not really up for in depth meaningful chin-wags!
What else is there? Oh, and keep it clean!!!

We have been watching Amazing Medical stories last week (can't remember what channel) - all about the half tonne man, and the woman who hadn't walked for 3 years, worn clothes for 6 years, and gone out of the house for 10 years!!!!!
Sad eh?

If i'm not sat on here trawling through posts, we watch Film after film like you Tracey....flick through channel after channel, watch decorating programmes so i can get new ideas for my new home when we go back
Tracey ...Paul is doing his helicopter ride on Sunday, i'm sure he's cacking it

I go shopping WITHOUT my 2 yr old and 6 month and old leave them home with daddy. It's bliss having just an hour or two of peace even if it is food shopping. Most of the stores here open until 9pm and they have a great selection of everything. My favourites are the discount/outlet stores that sell designer clothes for next to nothing!
I also enjoy going to a place here once a month on Thursday evenings with my mommy club called tana's kitchen. I make 12 entrees that go in the freezer so makes life easy for half the month cooking. Much nicer than supermarket meals and fun to have a good natter with the girls about everything!
In the summer, autumn and Spring we sometimes go for a drive around the area here as we live at the base of the mountains. I also like taking my doggies for a walk and going out in my garden, spending time on the back deck having a bbq and a drink of nice wine.
If I'm home and stuck inside because of snow. I go online as my 2 yr old has control of the tele and I can't take Elmo or Spongebob anymore.

I have season tickets to the theatre so about once a month I do that, last thing I saw was "Britannicus". Movies are always an option, I'm lucky that I have a couple of great cinemas just a short bus or bike ride away. I work to raise funds for a local repertory cinema so go to their events and film showings once a week. However, I skipped the last one as it was Inland Empire and as I've seen it already I made a point to miss the return screening. BBC America and PBS are always a good option when I want to stay in, of course you can go on internet forums.... and there's always reading. I devour Private Eye each week to see what's really happening in the UK, read the New Yorker and have a book on the go. When the weather's warm I go for an bike ride or run. Fridays and Saturdays its a meal and a few beers with the lads, maybe stay out to listen to some music and make fools of ourselves trying to chat up women.

On an evening we watch TV, we sit outside and eat, we go in the pool, read a book, don't go in the spa as we don't have one, don't walk the dog as it's dark and we go out to local pubs for a drink or meal when we can find one worth going to. Oh!!! and of course come on here and chat to family and friends in UK and browse around.

In any case I am banned from keeping furry animals by court order following the last unsavoury episode. Apparently there are only 3 places in the world where that act is legal and I didn't emigrate to one of them.
And Wales is too far to go for a quick fix.
