The fact he's giving the profits to the Royal British Legion is causing all kinds of kerfuffle in the UK.

BTW Cyril Smith died today.

Well, actually - yes. I have bought it, today - I am spending this weekend in Herefordshire and I saw it on sale at the Tesco store in Ledbury earlier this evening - at half price £12.50. I truly don't think I would have bought it had it not been marked down 50% from its standard price of £25.00 and, more importantly and definitely the main reason, all sale proceeds of the book are being donated to a very worthy, and in this case the most appropriate, cause - the Royal British Legion. I suppose that was the best way B*liar reckoned he could go some way to salve his conscience bearing in mind his (joint) action which sent hundreds of our brave and duty bound lads to their deaths in a $hitty desert hellhole.

Many of us had a very good idea anyway of what went on behind the scenes between this man and that other political disaster area - Gordon Brown, a man I am ashamed to call a fellow Scot, one who behaved in a way no self respecting Scot normally does - spending money like there was no tomorrow - OUR public money - OUR hard earned taxes, frequently paid to the non deserving or on crazy "politically correct" schemes which mostly failed anyway - and in the process amassing a huge national deficit which will probably take until all present day newborns become eligible to draw their state pensions, which looks set to be raised to 72 in a few years' time according to the Coalition Government.

Default Re: TONY BLAIR NEW BOOK

I wont be buying it but i have obtained it via an online copy (torrent).

I'll skim read it.

Blair isnt a Socialist though he is quite happy to preach Socialism.

What he wants is Socialism for everyone else but he wants the best for himself and his family.

He knows nothing of the real lives of ordinary people in Great Britain.

I expct he is suffering from the psychological traumas brought about by the realisation that he has caused the deaths and injuries of thousands by kowtowing to Bush and his phoney war.

Tony Blair was pelted with eggs and flour today by anti war protestors. Blair was due to sign copies of his new book.

However much people dislike Blair (and I do, fervently) nobody has yet, to my knowledge, written a song as virulent as "Tramp The Dirt Down," Costello's song about Thatcher:

In terms of responsibility for war deaths, though, Blair is way ahead of Thatcher: however posterity judges the rest of his public life, Blair should always be remembered as somebody who deliberately lied to start a war that has caused and will cause probably a million or more deaths. As far as I am concerned he is a war criminal and should be in front the court in The Hague.

Bugger Blair.......the journalist Quentin Letts (who lives close to my grandparents in Herefordshire here) recently had a book published with the title "50 people who Buggered up Britain". High up on the list was Tony B'liar, so positively no surprise there.

Ignore the man B'liar and let's go sailing by him and his ilk.......sailing the waters surrounding this Blair'n'Brown buggered up Island of ours.....via North Utsire, South Utsire, Viking, German Bight, Tyne, Dogger, Humber, Thames, Dover, Wight, Portland, Plymouth, Bailey, Biscay, Fortes, Lundy, Irish Sea, Rockall.....

Sailing By is broadcast every early morning c 00:45hrs prior to the BBC Radio 4UK sea areas Shipping Forecast and is one of the longest running signature tunes on BBC radio.

Yeah, but that German bird is well known as being not right in the head.

I think he won that particular skirmish.

Unfortunately they missed. Their next attempt is allegedly at his book party tomorrow night.

Meanwhile the British egg industry has had a surprising upturn in the market very recently.

Am I allowed to make corny jokes, using words with "egg" in them?

Some book shops have B*liar's book on display in the Crime section, others on the shelves under the Fantasy title. Who in their right mind would waste eggs on this man anyway - he just isn't worth it, or the effort involved. I'm amazed how insulting and disrespectful he is about people in the book - talk about pot and kettle - what a self seeking bar steward he truly is. His participation in the recent UK General Election campaign was about the most nauseating spectacle shown in the whole political circus, even more than the Gordon Brown and Gillian Duffy affair which at least was comical in its way.

Eggcellent! I heard this was taking place; good to see the evidence!
