FYI, To look for pet friendly lodgings, including chains, go to petswelcome dot com. Red Roof Inn, Motel 6, LaQuinta, All Choice brands inc. Comfort Inn, Clarion, Quality Inn, Rodeway Inn are lisited and should all accept pets. It's always a good idea to call ahead with any questions directly to the property you plan to stay in, just as britwhore did.

A lot of places are pet friendly but some charge per pet which adds up when u have 4!!!

We had a fun day sightseeing in NY today although a thunderstorm while we were at the top of the Empire State Building was a bit nerve wracking!

Everything went fine with USDA even though the LA vet had screwed up on the microchip numbers - STRESS!!!!!! Got it sorted and managed to race over to the USDA offices 5 mins before closing!! Now off to one of our fave NY restaurants for some great food and beer!!!!

Didn't make an appt. for USDA. The one in jFk u just turn up the one in NJ u need an appt for.
