where do you get 400,000 brits in dubai from, last year at peak it was up to 120,000 now probably 60,000

It is way more than 60,000. It was up to 150,000 at peak and whilst many are leaving there are still plenty of Brits who are moving out here.

Not much in the way of decent bars around here, but the skanky bar in the Fortune Hotel off Al Rigga is very cheap. You could try Champions at JW Marriot.

Otherwise relatively nearby are Churchills pub in the Sofitel at DCC, The Irish Village and Dubliners at Airport Meridian. You'll find Brits in those places for sure.
