SOrry, I don't know about post cancellation. I did it twice before I had my visa when I arrived and both times I got the 10 days grace.

Yes, I think you can, but it means queuing up, for most of the day, or so I'm told and the car run is more straight forward.

Car run not straight forward.

Drive out towards HAtta
Stop at checkpoint, show passport
Stop at checkpoint, show passport
Stop at UAE border
Park
Show passport
Pay any fines
Get stamp
Drive 5km ish to Oman border
Park
Get form
Fill out form
Queue
Queue
Queue
Queue
Pay 200dhs
Get stamp in and out
Get in car
Drive back to UAE
Get fresh stamp
Drive back through the same two check points

All in all will take you 4hrs +

Go to the immigration office at the new municipality office on SZR. You pay 610dhs and that gives you a 1 time extension. The typing office is there too..it should take you max 1 hour. Go early in the morning. Oh and.....sorry my Disco has gone to some guys in AD for spare parts.

yep but only the once at immigration as said above and its gone up as well.
