My response was to SamFTQ that was considering a trip to Kish instead of another destination - someone with a choice.

I honestly can't wait.

I really thought it would be far more difficult to get a visa but it wasn't tough at all. Just expensive (dh1,000)

oh there's no fundamental debate.

For a resort holiday break from a resort holiday lifestyle, BC's advice is spot on.

I only mentioned Kish to demonstrate that there are alternatives (even if you can afford a resort holiday visa run) which show you something other than the inside of yet another 5* hotel lobby! Of course each to his taste :thumbup:

I spent 1 month in Tehran - amazing place only downside is everyone trys to rip you off.
