Visa Question

As a tourist your allowed to stay 60 days in Dubai but ive heard you can have that extended to 90 days does anybody know how this can be done ? As its either that or i drive to Oman

Re: Visa Question

You simply apply at the Immigration Office for a month extension costing AED500 I believe. You may not be allowed to do this more than a couple of times.

Why did you do a visa run ? Are in the same situation as me ' not married ' & your partner has the residents visa ?

Simply because its a relevent topic for Middle East consumption rather than the usual personal/irrelevent stuff you get on Sand Pit...regard it as a compliment:)

British Airways from Abu Dhabi to Muscat (and indeed, Swiss from Dubai to Muscat) can be had for under 900. True though, both get you in late - 1am for Swiss, 2am for BA.

no its a separate town, 120 kms inland from Dubai, it is part of the AD Emirate. I didn't realise you could do border runs there though, I was under the impression that my friends who did visa runs who live there, went to Hatta as well.
