Al Ain is that part of dubai ?

no its a separate town, 120 kms inland from Dubai, it is part of the AD Emirate. I didn't realise you could do border runs there though, I was under the impression that my friends who did visa runs who live there, went to Hatta as well.

Hatta about 80 mins, Mussandam a few hours ;)

Head towards the border near hatta, its a great drive, takes about 1 1/2 hr and the Hatta Fort Hotel does a great breakfast

To save time i'll goto Hatta, so BC do i take it that your also not married ? How long do you spend in Oman ???? I mean....what do you do there have lunch & go home ?

Well, I'm not 'living in sin' as you call it!

By the way, how many 60 day visas are you allowed before you have to get a 'proper' visa?

no the fort is in the UAE.
Although its a bit strange as you drive through a bit of Oman before you get to UAE Hatta. no border for those bits
